Apparently some of the girls at school were talking nail polish today. Henry was doing some painting when he got home and he came to show me his "fingernails"
We had a very pleasant suprise this Saturnday when one of our Music Together cohort parents sent her daughter around the room passing out photos that she had taken and composited. She was also kind enough to send over printable digital files which I've included below. Thank you Bonny!
Sam and Henry had a great time visiting Aunt Zina and Uncle Bill in Santa Monica this Sunday, and then enjoyed visiting the Santa Monica pier for the first time.
Sam and Henry went to see Madagascar "Number 2" at the theater yesterday. The general consensus was that it was "too loud" but Sammy liked going into the "tunnel" and everyone had a good time... especially when they saw the promotional characters walking around outside afterwards.
Well we had our first stitches today. Henry fell on a brick stair quite hard and got a big gash in his forehead. We rushed to the ER and he needed 3 stitches on the inside and 7 on the outside. He was very brave. After waiting almost 2 hours to be stitched up, he promptly fell asleep as soon as the Dr. started stitching!! It was a good thing we had Monkey with us this morning!!
The boys had a great time at their rock and roll birthday extravaganza, they seemed to be so happy with their new drums and mics that they didn't even notice the big pile of presents to open!!
It only took Henry about a week to get good at using the potty , by the second week he was a pro! Sammy feels that the potty is a good place to catch up on his reading!
Oh we had such a great time at the UCSB beach camp in Santa Barbara! Here you see Henry trying to sign up for the wine tour, toobad he forgot his fake I.D. Here is Henry destroying sandcastles at Goleta State Beach.. There was no bath tub so the boys had to take a bath in the bucket, what fun! Henry learning how to play ping pong!!
The bouncy house was fun! So was playing dress up in our dorm room.. Walking on the beach with dad,, hhmmm, can you say clone ?? Went for our first boat ride and the captain let Sammy steer!! Grandma & Grandpa Carter came for a few days, we love it when grandpa reads to us!
These pictures were taken by professional photographer who worked at the vacation center... Henry is too cool. Family portrait at the beach The boys loved camp here they are in the byebye buggy which is a stroller for 6 kids! The boys went on a hike with the other kids in small world and all of their co-ed counselors.. Family portrait taken on arrival, we stayed in the dorm behind us.
Do you think we have enough stuff in our yard? You would think we would never need to leave the house as there is so much fun stuff to do here at home!! Mommy put the playhouse/swingset together all by herself!! Go Mommy!!
